Summary: This study identified the child-rearing beliefs and practices of the one hundred and two working mothers in Bulacao, Pardo, Cebu City, and their implications to Home Economics Program in Schools. The descriptive analysis was the method used in the study with questionnaire as the principal instrument used. The questionnaire was constructed based on the readings from theses and from inquiries by the writer from among experienced professionals in schools and in the neighborhood. The interview was used to clarify some points in the questionnaire that could not be answered objectively by the respondent. A total of hundred and two mothers were randomly identified from the district of St. Jude Acres, Bulacao, Pardo, Cebu City.
