Abstract

The main thrust of this study was to determine the frequency of use and the degree of effectiveness of the teaching strategies utilized by the instructors of the College of Nursing, University of Bohol as basis for a Proposed Enhancement Plan.
Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the
1.1 instructors as regards the following:
1.1.1 educational attainment,
1.1.2 years of experience,
1.1.3 level assignment,
1.1.4 position, and
1.1.5 employment status?
1.2 status of the students?
2. What teaching strategies are frequently utilized by the clinical instructors in the classroom and Related Learning Experience (RLE)?
3. What is the degree of effectiveness of the teaching strategies utilized in the classroom and in the Related Learning Experience?
4. Is there a significant relationship in the perceptions of the students and clinical instructors on the degree of effectiveness of the teaching strategies utilized in the classroom and related-learning experience (RLE)?
5. Based on the findings, what enhancement plan may be proposed?
Method Used
This study utilized the descriptive-survey method of research. Questionnaires were used as instruments for data collection. The findings were used basis for a proposed enhancement plan.
