Abstract
This study aimed to explore the life experiences of police officers in the Philippine National Police (PNP) anti-criminality operations in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Specifically. sought to the following specific problems: the experiences of the informants in the PNP anti-criminality operation, how do the informants' experiences affect their lives as an individual and as a member of the PNP organization and aspirations of the informants to improve the anti-criminality operations strategies.

The phenomenological and qualitative approach in this study was utilized through interviews as the key process in the gathering of data. There were ten (10) selected police officers tasked with the implementation of anti-criminality operations in Tagbilaran City. Six (6) of them had been interviewed individually while the remaining four (4) were included in the Focused Group Discussion (FGD). They were selected from the names recommended by the Chief of Police because of their qualifications and broad experience in the subject matter. The research location is the Tagbilaran City Police Station presently situated on Calceta St. Brgy. Cogon. Tagbilaran City. I used a validated interview guide aided with the voice recorder for the basis of transcribing the responses of the informants. Utilized was Colaizzi's method, a phenomenological analysis procedure in analyzing the responses of the informants during the conduct of the interview.

For the experiences of the informants in the PNP anti-criminality operations in Tagbilaran City, themes created were Strategies Towards Peaceful Community, Empowerment through Teamwork, Satisfaction of Attained Goals, and Faith Against All Odds, for the experiences that affect the informants' lives as individual and the PNP organization, themes created were Realization of Self-worth, Embracing Community Engagement through Confidence Building, Fiat Justitia Ruat Caelum, and Broken Trust and Confidence and for the aspirations of the informants to improve the anti-criminality operations strategies, theme created were Self-Motivation Towards Professional Development and Fruits of Diligent Effort.

For the Philippine National Police (PNP) as the enforcer of the law, it is suggested that police officers assigned and designated in the implementation of anti-criminality operation must be given refreshment seminars for them not to forget the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) before, during and after operations. A continuous knowledge and skills training program must be given to them so that they will develop their strategies and they will be aware of the new laws, jurisprudence from the Supreme Court, and guidelines from the Department of Justice to attain convection of cases,

Tagbilaran City Police Station must continue strengthening the Police Community Relation (PCR) activities through barangay visitation, presence of police officers during barangay assembly/meetings, coordination with barangay officials, tanods, and other force multipliers to win the heart of the community.
