Abstract
The major findings unveiled a diverse age distribution, with a notable gender imbalance and a majority in their third academic year. Overall, the results revealed that components of emotional intelligence , do not exhibit a significant statistical correlation with accounting performance. The major conclusion underscores the absence of a direct relationship between emotional intelligence aspects and acccounting performance, suggesting potential unexplored variables or measurement limitations influencing this context, prompting the need for further nuanced investigation into emotions' impact on academic success within this academic setting.
