Abstract: The purpose of this study was to comprehend and investigate how the community views the human rights aspects of police service in Cebu: which is to ascertain the following main questions: the positive views of the informants on the human rights aspects of police service in Cebu, the negative views of the informants on the human rights aspects of police service in Cebu, the forms of human rights violations committed by the police observed by the informants as well as the impact of human rights violations in police service in the community specifically in Tabogon and Bogo.
